First impressions matter.
The face
of your home.
The exterior of your home is the part that the neighbourhood sees every day. Worn doors, sagging porches, mismatched eavestrough, faded paint. Each one ages a home faster than the interior ever could. Most homeowners pour money into a kitchen renovation while the front entrance still looks tired.
Exterior renovation is some of the highest-return work we do. A new front entrance changes how a home is perceived from the street. A rebuilt porch elevates the entire facade. New doors, windows, and lighting hardware finish the picture. The investment is modest compared to interior work. The visual impact is greater.
We renovate front entrances, rear entries, porches, decks, exterior siding, eavestrough, and lighting. We coordinate door manufacturers, exterior trades, and finish details to produce exteriors that age well and read intentional.

Before, during,
delivered.
A single exterior captured at three stages. The starting point, the work mid-construction where the structural changes happen, and the finished result from the street. Same home, different presence.
The starting point
An entrance that no longer matched the home behind it. Dated finishes, worn materials, and a facade that aged the property from the street. Every visible element a candidate for replacement.
Down to the framing
Demolition complete. New framing in place. Weatherproofing and flashing installed. The structural and weatherproofing layers that decide whether the new exterior lasts five years or thirty.
Delivered
New door, refreshed porch, updated lighting, finished trim. The same home, reimagined as a property that reads new from the curb.
"Same home, different presence." That is the brief we work to on every exterior.

What affects the final number: material selection, door tier, porch size and complexity, siding type, structural repairs, and weather windows for outdoor work.
For your exterior.
Exterior work has to look intentional and weather Ontario seasons. Our approach addresses both.
Cohesive Visual Plan
Door colour, hardware finish, lighting style, porch material, paint colours. We coordinate every element so the finished exterior reads as one design, not a collection of upgrades.
Built For Ontario Weather
Materials selected for freeze-thaw cycles, UV exposure, and humidity. Proper flashing, sealants, and weatherproofing details. Exteriors that last 20 years, not 5.
Premium Door Sourcing
We work with door manufacturers we trust. Solid construction, proper hardware, weatherstripping that actually seals. The door is the first thing visitors interact with. We treat it that way.
Permits Where Required
Porch rebuilds, structural changes, and certain siding work require permits. We handle every municipal interaction so you never have an inspection surprise.
Common questions.
The questions homeowners ask when planning exterior work.
Most exterior renovations happen between April and November. Door installs and porch work can extend later if temperatures stay above freezing for sealants and adhesives. Siding and roofing have wider weather windows. We schedule based on your project type and book early because exterior trades fill up fast in spring.
Door replacement and most cosmetic work do not require permits. Porch rebuilds, deck construction over a certain height, structural changes, and additions do require permits. We assess permit requirements during the design phase and handle the application process if needed.
A door and entry refresh typically takes 1 to 2 weeks. A porch rebuild runs 3 to 6 weeks. A full exterior refresh including siding can take 6 to 10 weeks. Custom doors often have 6 to 12 week lead times for ordering, which we coordinate with the build schedule.
Vinyl is the most affordable and lowest maintenance, with a 20 to 30 year lifespan. Fibre cement (like James Hardie) costs more but has better fire resistance, looks more like wood, and lasts 30 to 50 years. Wood siding is the most premium aesthetic but requires more maintenance and refinishing every 5 to 10 years. We help select based on your budget, aesthetic, and maintenance preferences.
Yes. Adding a new porch involves footings, framing, and roof tie-in to the existing structure. Permits are required and zoning setbacks have to be respected. The investment is meaningful but the curb appeal return is substantial. We assess feasibility during the design phase.
Exterior work consistently produces some of the highest ROI in renovation. New doors, porch rebuilds, siding refreshes, and updated lighting all improve curb appeal and perceived value. Real estate agents consistently rate exterior condition as one of the top three factors in buyer first impressions.
George transformed the front entrance of our space. New door, refreshed porch, side-light windows. The entrance now reflects the quality of what is inside.
